Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of coaching does Bar Beaulaurier offer?

Life Purpose Coaching with Bar (that’s me) is a deep, transformative process that can include shadow work, Jungian-inspired active imagination, Emotional Power Integration (EPI), breathwork, and guided meditation. These tools help you access your inner wisdom, release old patterns, and align your life with your true self.

Will your coaching work for someone who struggles with focus, organization, or feeling overwhelmed?

Absolutely. I understand how long to-do lists, strict timelines, and too much information can leave a person feeling frozen or stuck—it happens to many people, for many different reasons. My coaching process is never one-size-fits-all. Instead, we’ll work together to find an approach that supports your unique way of thinking, processing, and making progress, so you can move forward at a pace and style that truly works for you.

What if I’m not clear on what my values or purpose are?

You’re not alone—many people come to this work unsure of their values or purpose. Think of it as an adventure in self-discovery. Along the way, we’ll uncover what lights you up and what guides you, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

“Everything is within your power, and your power is within you.”

— Janice Trachtman

How is coaching different from therapy?

While the coaching relationship is not therapy (psychotherapy or psychological counseling), it’s common for deep emotions or past experiences to come up during sessions. Therapy’s focus is often on the past and healing; coaching draws wisdom from the past and channels it into intentional action. In Life Purpose Coaching, we work on creating a future that reflects your true self—your purpose, dreams, and highest potential.

Invitation: If you’re ready to uncover your deeper purpose and create a life you love, I’d be honored to walk beside you every step of the way.

Is there a spiritual component to the work we would be doing?

There is a spiritual aspect to our work, but it’s not about following a specific belief system—it’s about approaching the journey with openness and curiosity. We’ll work together to align your choices with your values, purpose, and vision, so you can live more authentically. I honor all faiths and philosophies—Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hare Krishna, Christian, and beyond.

Do you see clients in-person or remotely?

Since I split my time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Buenos Aires, all coaching sessions are currently online via Zoom.

What issues do you specialize in?

I specialize in guiding people through life transitions, uncertainty, and the search for deeper meaning and self-awareness. Whether you feel stuck, lost, or ready for a major change, coaching helps you reconnect with your true self and move forward with clarity and confidence.

How long is a session and how often will we meet?

Each session is 55 minutes, and coaching sessions are scheduled every other week.

This time between sessions gives you space to reflect and integrate the awareness that arises during our time together. The space between our calls is just as important as the sessions themselves—it’s where real transformation begins to take root.

“It is never too late to be who you might have been.”

— George Eliot
